This extravagant advent calendar from Drinks by the Dram may seem like it carries an excessive price tag. This is until you know that the calendar comes with 24 of the rarest and most exciting whiskies from around the globe. The drams come in 30ml bottles. To make it even more exciting, only 10 were made in the entire world.

Some of the single malt miniatures that this advent calendar has to offer includes whisky from distilleries that have been closed for a long time, as well as a taste of whisky up to a whopping £19,000. This almost makes sense as to why it is £10,000. I’m sure if you were fortunate enough to get your hands on one of these you would have had a very Merry Christmas.

The Macallan M – £448,189.72

The Macallan M is one of the pinnacles of Scottish whisky. It was last sold at a Hong Kong auction for a whopping $628,205. This whisky is just about as old and rare as you can get in terms of Scottish whisky. The Macallan M ranges from between about 25-75 years old. This whisky is made even more special due to it being placed in an expertly designed and handcrafted crystal bottle.

Isabella Islay’s Whisky Decanter – £4,423,297

This beautiful decanter is made of the finest white gold money can buy, along with 8,500 diamonds and £300 rubies. The decanter itself would still be over £4m. The whisky inside of it, however, is some of the finest that money can buy and is one of the most luxurious whiskies that Scotland has ever produced. It sold for $6,200,000.

So there you have it, some of the most expensive whisky related treasures that the world has to offer. Everything from pricy single malt miniatures to an even pricier diamond and ruby encrusted white gold decanter. If this doesn’t make you feel poor I don’t know what will.
