Ever wanted to know more about what a carbon dioxide sensor is or how it works? look no further! through this article we will look at the uses of the carbon dioxide sensor as well as why it is such an important device. In addition to this we will also examine the effects of climate change and how it is changing the way we live our lives day to day.
Carbon dioxide is all around us . Its one of the most prevalent gases within our atmosphere. However it is diluted by oxygen so we can breathe it safely. However larger doses of carbon dioxide can have a lethal effect and leave people injured , unconscious or in worst case scenarios cause death. In order to prevent this from happening we first need to understand what the sources of carbon dioxide around us are. Industrial factories , cars and fires cause large amounts of carbon dioxide to be distributed within the atmosphere. Although having said there are also natural producers of carbon dioxide such as trees and plants. It has been claimed by many climate activists that having excess levels of carbon dioxide within the atmosphere can cause global warming.
Carbon dioxide sensors are used to monitor levels of carbon dioxide within the atmosphere. There are a number of different applications that they can be used in from industrial markets to public sector organisations as well as domestic use. Industrial firms such as oil companies and construction firms need to be especially wary of carbon dioxide and as a result are amongst the biggest purchasers of carbon dioxide sensors.
Carbon dioxide sensors monitor and track the levels of C02 within a certain area and can notify users if C02 breaches a safe level. C02 sensors are also commonly found within houses across the UK and are often fitted by the fire brigade. This is often used as a preventative measure in order to protect from C02 or gas leaks.
Climate change is a big issue which has caused divides across society. Climate activists have long campaigned against mass industrial production and increased emissions. However this advice has only been heeded to a small extent. One of the main issues surrounding climate change is clarity and publicly available data to justify making large changes in society and industrial production.
Although there are correlations between temperature increases and increased world population and emissions there isn’t necessarily definitive proof agreed by Scientologists or climate experts that show that climate change is directly impacted by C02 emissions. However many Governments have failed to properly address this issue.
To conclude carbon dioxide sensors are an important component to be used within any environment. They provide safety and allow many companies to operate safely during their work. The full effects of carbon dioxide on out atmosphere are still being evaluated but overall it is likely that increasing carbon emissions is not good for general health and well being as it contributes to pollution.
